Homesteading is on a lot of people’s minds these days.
But some of you wonder where to even start. It seems like such a daunting task.
Plus, many of you are living in an apartment, townhouse, or renting wonder if you could even possibly homestead.
The short answer is yes.
You only need to do just ONE thing to get start.
No matter your property size or budget, you can do this ONE thing.
Grow something.
I know this may sound so simple.
So simple in fact that it couldn’t possibly be homesteading. But let me assure you that any measure you take to begin to be self-sustaining is getting your mind-set right to begin the journey.
So grow something, anything you will eat.
Maybe it’s a pot of basil that you use to make spaghetti.
Maybe it’s a tomato plant in a pot on the patio.
Maybe it’s chamomile herb for tea you will drink at night.
Maybe you can have one small bed of your favorite tomatoes, peppers and lettuce.
Whatever it is, start where you are and use what you have, even if it it’s just a pot at your front door or in your windowsill.
You CAN do this and be successful.
