What do you do when you have TONS of fresh broccoli, homemade broth, home grown pasture chicken, and fresh goat’s milk?
Make some heart warming broccoli soup of course.
I’m not gonna make you scroll through lots of text to get to recipe, I’m gonna cut to the chase and give it to you right way.
I did make one substitution in the recipe. I have lots of Swiss Chard and the stalks are just as good a celery so I chopped those up and used that instead.
You’re welcome.
- Sautee the butter and onions, celery or swiss chard stalks in over medium high heat until soft.
- Add broth and milk.
- Take a little bit of cold water and mix with cornstarch until smooth. Add to the broth stirring consistently.
- Add chopped chicken and broccoli.
- Stir
- Add cheese and stir until melted.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
